First blog.

Good evening everyone, this is the first blogspot that I created and the creation of this blog spot is due to the course paper work in my college. But sincerely I hope can share everything around me, about my life with all of my friend. Glad to have this opportunity.

My name is Ke Zheng Liang, currently pursuing Degree of Business Administration in Logistic and Transportation in UUM Malaysia, progress in semester 4. Now I would like to use this chance to introduce my campus. For me, there is such a lovely and freedom place.

University Utara Malaysia (UUM), known as Northern University of Malaysia, is a public university in the town of Sintok, Kedah.

Utara means 'northern' in the Malay language. It was formally incorporated on 16 February 1984. The university was established with the specific mission of providing a leadership role for management education in the country. Thus, the university is also known as a management university with the slogans "Eminent Management University".



The academic establishments in UUM include College of Business (UUM COB), College of Law, Government and International Studies (UUM COLGIS) and College of Arts and Sciences (UUM CAS). My course faculty is under COB.

Lets talk about the facilities, the university's Sultanah Bahiyah Library has computer access and one of the largest collections of books, audiovisuals, journals and references in the fields of management and related areas in the country. UUM has a Convention Center with a plenary session hall, mini-theatres, seminar and conference rooms and a secretariat room equipped with computer facilities.

This is my most favorite places in campus, sport center. In terms of recreation, the university campus has an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a mini stadium, an archery range, a badminton hall, gymnasiums, tennis courts, squash, basketball and volleyball courts, rugby, hockey, softball, equestrian, handball and football fields and a nine-hole golf course. Other recreational facilities such as canoeing, jogging, bicycling, jungle trekking and camping are available for the students, staff and public.
